Menu Design
1. Select a style of menu to design. The concept should be design stylish and design-heavy. The menu should include graphic elements, logo and a stylish font to match the brand of the business you are promoting. The menu does not have to be a real business. The menu should be limited items like the examples.
2. Create a new document in Adobe Illustrator. 8.5 X 11.
3. Break up the content into larger and smaller parts. Focus on the five fundamentals we covered in the video: Line, shape, form, texture and balance. Make sure you pay attention to scale. placement, alignment, type style, and other cues to create visual order.
4. In addition to creating a logical and legible order, seek to impart the information with a distinctive and engaging visual identity. Keep the design clean and simple, but fun!
