Book Cover Design

Program:Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator + Indesign

Size: Students will measure the existing book cover to determine all the panel sizes or download template provided on powerschool.

Student’s will select a discard (older) book from the library or home and recreate a new modern day cover for the book.   If you do not have access to an old book at home you can search online for a book Idea. The information that is currently included on the book cover must still be included. Each student will have one week to complete a rough draft of their layout.  They will them submit a print to Mrs Cox for proofing, if in school.  Once you receive the mark ups you will make revisions and then save the files as a pdf with crop-marks and the page bleed included.  (I will go over how to do this in class)

Once printed full size each student will wrap the book in the new cover and submit the book for grading. (we will skip this step during online classes)
