Style Russian Constructivism

Make an old Style New

The Process:

1. Select a Black and white image of a musician and remove the background.
2. Choose typefaces that reflect the spirit of the style.
   • limit yourself to six typefaces
   • mix and match the type to give you a raw quality
3. combine the type and image into a collage or montage against a contrasting background.
4. add element to give you character a unique twist
5. Add color and shading or textrue to give it an antique or distressed appearance
